Election Fraud 2020

The DailyGasLamp’s most popular post is Election Fraud 2019 written soon after the UK General Election in December 2019. Well, get ready for more Election Fraud in 2020 in the USA Presidential Elections. It happened in 2016, do you think it has got any better since then?

GE2019

Recap of GE2019. In the UK…

  • Boris Johnson was leading a minority government but did not seek any compromise.
  • The election campaigning focused down onto just three words “Get Brexit Down”. (To be fair, Johnson also mentioned “Our Fabulous NHS” too but without any consistent detail behind the phrase).
  • Dominic Cummings was the mastermind behind the Conservative Election strategy. He was familar enough with Cambridge Analytica’s method of Big Data analysis and AI to rig elections via social media to create his Voter Intentions Collection Systems (VICS) which was used successfully for the EU Referendum in 2016.
  • Key to the Cummings approach is having better knowledge of the Voter Intentions and the state of the electoral roll. The electoral roll was being “updated” during the course of the election campaign thus providing plenty of scope for voter suppression especially vote suppression of postal votes. Who are more likely to be suppressed: young adults, renters, mobile workers, migrants… the very people who would likely not to be voting Conservative. All this knowledge is known as “Situational Awareness”.
  • Cummings was able to predict in November, an 80 seat majority for the Consevatives. After a dreadful campaign where Johnson was boo-ed, did little camapigning on the streets, not bothering to address key issues such as Climate Change, corruption in government (Russia Report, Arcuri scandall) etc, with other polls shifting wildly, they won with exactly an 80 seat majority.
  • They was no-one celebrating the victory on the streets. It was a shock win! There were a few protests but nothing of the scale of Belarus popular revolt. After all, most people still believe the BBC, despite its unprecedently biased coverage of the election.

GE2020

There is a right wing atlantic cabal. What happens state-side happens in the UK and vice versa. So 2020 is the US presidential election, and according to to Salon and Greg Plast (in his new book “How Trump Stole 2020”, written as a warning rather than a prediction), Donald Trump is planning fraud to secure his 2020 re-election. The main tactic is voter suppression. He has already been doing this for a while… consider the following:

Video here…

For those who don’t get it, here’s what will happen on election night. Due to the fact that millions have already been purged from the rolls & that the USPS is being undermined, there will be mass chaos as to what the real vote is. Trump will declare victory no matter what…

Comedy as a Right Wing Tool

The “Have I Got News For You” Effect

Juliet Jacques (writer, filmmaker and host of the political arts podcast Suite) takes apart the gaslighting within the BBC’s and MSM Comedy in her article “How Corbyn Unmasked Comedy”. She argues that the way comedians treated Jeremy Corbyn demolishes their anti-establishment credentials (and thus exposes the gaslighting from the establishment). This post quotes extensively from Jacques article.

While comedians should have, could have and probably did, make fun of Corbyn’s Jam making and interest in manhole covers, apparently the true fun was apparently re-running the establishment gaslighting of Corbyn as AS, Russia-lover and terrorist sympathizer. So either comedians are no longer anti-establishment, left wingers or they have lost the ability to see how they had been co-opted into a right wing agenda.

While New Labour allowed comedy shows like The Thick Of It to project Labour and Conservatives as “all the same”. This proposition wore thin as Cameron and Osborne’s cuts became harsher. It collapsed when Corbyn assumed the Labour leadership on an anti-austerity platform. Suddenly, the “both-sides -framing” comedian jokes were no longer funny. It was only with Corbyn’s ascent that showed that mainstream comedy had been taken over and completely de-radicalised over the previous two decades. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, one could see Spitting Image taking apart the Conservatives or Fry and Laurie shoving Rupert Murdoch off a bridge for the sake of humanity. Somewhere in the early 21st century comedy was taken over as a tool for the establishment. The fool became the tool.

As many commentators have noted Johnson’s appearance on Have I got News For You made him appear approachable, making him more likely to be elected leader of the Conservative Party (and hence PM) despite his dreadful record with women, children, public money, Russian spies, diplomacy, detail and the truth. Did Corbyn refuse the offer of appearing on the show? Was he ever asked?

Charlie Brooker, who had long cast himself on Screenwipe as an angry outsider, alone on his sofa venting his frustrations about politics and its mediation, did a typically cynical vignette on his 2016 end-of-year show on Corbyn’s argument with Richard Branson over whether seats were available on a Virgin train. Coming right after a gag about Corbyn failing to ‘recognise’ anti-Semitism, with no mention of his record of standing up for Jewish and anti-fascist causes, Brooker spent far more time attacking Corbyn than Branson. He did so with no consideration of why Branson might cast doubt on Corbyn’s story, nor why Sky News would side with Branson, let alone giving any idea of why his willingness to confront corporate interests appealed enough to Labour’s members for them to re-elect him by a landslide that summer. Brooker’s sister-in-law, incidentally, is a Labour MP who supported Owen Smith in that leadership contest.

Another trend that made it harder for satirists to land meaningful blows on the Labour leader was that the media attacked Corbyn from every possible angle, often in mutually contradictory ways: comedians then became no differnt from the establishment!

Mainstream comedy came out of the GE2019 very badly. Russell Howard, with a net worth of £5 million, told his audience that Corbyn and Boris Johnson were politically indistinguishableHave I Got News for You – and the satirical paper Private Eye, edited by regular HIGNFY panellist Ian Hislop – blamed Corbyn for Johnson’s victory without taking responsibility for helping Johnson establish his ‘harmless clown’ persona through repeated appearances on the programme.

In this sense, Johnson stands alongside Donald Trump, Jair Bolsonaro, Volodymyr Zelensky and Jar-Jar Binks as right-wing populists who built up a supportive base through mass entertainment. Like them, Johnson is impervious to satire – he doesn’t care how he comes across to ‘respectable’ people. With an 80 seat majority – that was predicted by Cummings and then delivered by the power of Big Data, electoral roll confusion and postal vote fraud, using money from Russian Oligarchs and other Tax Haven users, Johnson can do anything and get away with anything.

There is a Pattern

The Establishment approach to control of comedy reflects the way the press, magazines and music have been infiltrated since WW2.

  • The Press – “free press” dominated by a few billionaires. Read up on Operation Mockingbird and Orwell Rolls in his Grave
  • Music industry was infiltrated, turning the revolutionary zeal of 1950, 60s and 70s to bland pop of the 21st century.
  • Social media – dominated by a few companies: facebook and google – both having support from right wing sources. Note that Tik-Tok is about to be banned!

The comedy you watch is being changed, controlled and steering you in a particular direction. You are being gaslit.

BBC can’t find enough Right Wing Comedians

One Rule for the Rich

… is to get rich quick.

Following on from Dominic Cummings blatant disregard for the lockdown rules imposed by this Tory Government that he engineered a fraudlent win last December, it has emerged from the Bureau of Investigation conflicts of interest between Cummings and the AI Health firms receiving government cash.

It reports

Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s most senior aide, is facing conflict of interest accusations over a publicly undisclosed consultancy job at a healthcare start-up endorsed by the government and in pole position to receive cash from a £250m NHS fund.

Cummings advised Babylon Health, a controversial AI start-up, on its communications strategy and senior recruitment just months before its “GP at Hand” app was publicly backed by Matt Hancock, the health secretary…

“The links between Dominic Cummings in the heart of Downing Street, the health secretary and this AI health firm are increasingly murky and highly irresponsible,” the shadow health secretary, Jonathan Ashworth, said. “Mr Cummings’ work for this company raises serious questions about a potential conflict of interest given the firm could be in line to receive public money from this new £250m AI fund… Cummings should come clean on any other consultancy work he did before entering Downing Street so the public can have confidence that there are no other conflict of interest issues at play.”

Babylon confirmed Cummings was paid via his company, Dynamic Maps Ltd, which he set up in October 2017 as the sole director…

Babylon had been repeatedly boosted by Matt Hancock, who even promised to help change rules to benefit the company. At his visit to the company in September 2018, soon after his appointment as health secretary, he told staff how much he admired their work.

Big Data and Privacy Concerns

Under a recent relaxation of data-sharing restrictions, private companies can now be granted access to NHS patient data for valid Covid-19 purposes.

One company to note is Palantir. It has been accused of having its data-mining technology used for questionable purposes. Examples include a system used by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to separate immigrant families and the use of its software in predictive policing tools by the Los Angeles Police Department. In 2018, Palantir admitted that an employee had helped Cambridge Analytica build its data-harvesting app in 2013-14…

Previously confidential NHS data could not be put under the control of anyone who was not a healthcare professional without a legal basis.

Doubts are growing about what happens once the coronavirus crisis is over. One insider told the Bureau: “I can understand why they are using Palantir, it has incredible software.” But they said they were concerned that the company was not known for being the most open and added: “I’d like to see it build a parallel system – so [the Palantir system] can get switched off when it is not needed anymore.”

Natalie Banner, lead on the Understanding Patient Data programme at the medical research charity Wellcome, said that the public do not object to private companies working with the health service as long as benefits to patients and the NHS are clearly prioritised. “The NHS can benefit from the capacity and technical expertise of technology companies, for example to build the data store,” she said.

Crucially, technology companies that work with the NHS during this crisis will develop a better understanding of the UK’s health data infrastructure, “which could give them an advantage in future discussions about providing services to the NHS”.

Rachel Coldicutt, former chief executive of the technology ethics think tank Doteveryone, said that: “Public services, funded by public money, must be open to public scrutiny – especially in times of great upheaval when lots of decisions are being made very quickly.

“Publishing the specification that Palantir is working to and appointing an emergency governance committee to give external oversight would help maintain trust in this volatile period.”

According to Wired, some 40 tech companies were present at a meeting with No 10 advisor Dominic Cummings in Downing Street on 12 March. Among their ranks were said to be several who have got the Covid-related health contracts, as well as the AI start-up Babylon Health.

Covid-19

This TDG article considers the different theories for the sources of Covid-19 and comes up with a startling conclusion and taps into work that others have been working upon, including compelling analysis that Covid-19 is manmade!

About this site

This site was set up in the wake of the strange Tory victory in the 2019 General Election. Strange because it was won by the Tories by the precise margin predicted by Dominic Cummings – 80 seats – and confounding all other polls. See this post.

What magic was Dominic Cummings using? IT magic! Used in conjunction with standard methods of commercial marketting and Pyschological Operations. The novel use of technology to infulence elections was invented by Cambridge Analytic and has been proven worldwide…

The impact on Democracy of the use of Big Data – the combination of demographic data, pychographic data and social media – is described in the Daily Gaslamp’s first animated movie.

A collection of the evidence for the GE2019 Fraud is given here. Postal vote fraud is nothing new to UK politics as evidence here. The government itself admits the “system is under strain” – even without considering the impact of technology (particularly the use of bots, AI and Big Data).

What have they done?

Since January, the UK Prime Minister has busily been avoiding taking responsibility for anything…

Response by Election Commission and Infromation Commissioner Office is given here. They both admit to problems with “social media” and data analytics but have no solutions.

Gaslighting – there is nothing to see… 😉

Control the Message

Old style mainstream media was out in force against Labour in GE2019 according to this article. It claims that the Mainstream Media was “Rigged” against Labour and for the Conservatives. But most people already know that the newspapers are owned by billionaires and are right wing. GE2019 was different becuase it was not just the newspapers but bias within the BBC, and TV in general, and also – probably for the first time – online through both search engine manipulation effect (SEME) and social media gaslighting. Not just Big Data analytics either…

Beyond SEME, is the use of intelligent Bot systems (where developers actually get help and support from the bot technology that they are using!)…

This seems to be a key tool in automating the Conservative GE2019 campaign, to control the message. How many people were fooled by disinformation, controlled messages, the dopamine hit of a “like” to right wing comment from a bot, or an AI message from a new “friend” that appeared to be taking interest in their opinions?

Botpress has a nice graphic interface and the developers get support from the bot, giving friendly advice on how to achieve particular goals. It can even autocomplete various functions. Botpress, or similar tools from Google or Pandora, adds more detail to the description in an earlier DailyGasLamp article here. In that article it described bots and sock puppets. Botpress would be the Bot component (while a “sock puppet” is just a person with multiple identities).

Interestingly, these systems are used by some major, major companies that supply the UK government with their systems… so this type of technology would be known to Dominic Cummings who from his blog post seems to have quite an interest in the subject.

Botpress also comes with a facebook connector (info here). How to use this tool is described here… the peak downloads for this software was June 2019 – plenty of time to ramp up development for GE2019. Botpress capabilities vs competiting products is described here.

The set up and running of this technology requires a huge amount of capital intensive investment – the rich are organised “few” – the 1%, less than 0.01% actually – and they outgun the poor, the disorganised “many”. So democracy is now a hidden war between people-powered electioneering (“the people”) against a limitless army of hidden robots controlled and funded by a few billionaires. Democracy vs oligarchy – we currently have the latter…
