Covid-19: Competing Theories

As we come to work out how to get out of the death spiral assoctaed with the lock-down in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have to consider how we have got into this state and “what can we blame”…

Theories

This examines the competing theories to see if any

1. Natural Occurance – World Slow to Respond3. Made-it Happen – China to Blame
2. Natural Occurance – China as source and kept it quiet4. Made-it Happen – USA to Blame
Competing Theories for Covid-19 Pandemic

Theory 1

1. Natural Occurance – World Slow to RespondProCon
The science proves it is a natural virusScientists says the virus was natural and come from bats.Virulent virus – highly transmittable – never been seen before, just happens to come from city with a biological weapons establishment.
The MSM would tell the truthMainstream media narrative consistentMainstream media just reporting politician statements, owned by billionaires and not doing investigative reporting or holding government to account.
It is unexpectedNo-one would expect such a large scale pandemic and so unprepared for such an event.A Pandemic has been the number 1 risk in National Risk Registers for decades. There are many rehearsals and scenario planning for this event. The last one in UK was 2017 which identified the issue of lack of ventilators, ICU beds and PPE.
Our politicians are incompentant and corruptDifficulties in sourcing ventilators, PPE, testing kits. “Emails being lost in spam folder”. USA and UK seem in lock step in their levels of incompetance. Companies that are rewarded are either “cheap” and don’t conform to specification or from Tory Party donors.
Any talk that this is anything other than natural is a “Conspiracy Theory”As discussed here. “unlike most conspiracy theories, medical ones can have deadly consequences.”Making the subject taboo in the MSM makes rational discussion almost impossible.
Pros and Cons of Theory Number 1 Natural Occurance

Theory Number 1 is mainstream. It’s just a giant coincidence…

Theory 2

Natural Occurance – China as source and kept it quietProCon
It’s a naturally occuring virus but the Chinese covered up the extent on the problem.Whistleblowers were surpressed. No they weren’t.
Donald Trump said China was to blameChina surpressed newsChina identified Covid-19 “in the city of Wuhan” only in December 2019.
Pros and Cons of Theory Number 2 Natural Occurance – China as source and kept it quiet

Theory Number 2 is just a push towards Theory Number 3, trying to push the blame onto China.

Theory 3

Made-it Happen – China to BlameProCon
Virulent virus comes from city with a biological weapons establishment.Scientists from the P-4 Lab have worked on SARS and COVID like viruses since 2015 collaborating with USA.Coincidence that this highly transmitable virus has only decide to transmit at this time at a location that has a biological weapons establishment.
China’s main site of biological weapons is in Wuhan. Covid-19 could have leaked out.The worked was acknowledged as being risky. Fears of leaks from US Fort Detrick have happened as recently as Summer 2019. Virus researchers claim that lab procedures were tight and a lab leak couldn’t happen.
China wanted to surpress riots in Hong Kong.Riots stopped because of medical emergency. If it was premeditated why was the virus ground zero in Wuhan (central China) rather than an area closer to Hong Kong?
Donald Trump said China was to blamePresident of the USA had INTEL that China was to blame.Trump is a racist, point scoring, idiot in an election year.
Pros and Cons of Theory Number 3 Made-it Happen – China to Blame

Theory Number 3 arises because of the location of the P-4 Lab. So many people believe there was a leak from the Lab that this theory is mainstream: the Chinese are to blame but it was not pre-meditated.

Theory 4

Made-it-Happen – USA to blameProCon
Alleged by China that first cases of Covid-19 recorded in old age facility close to Fort Detrrick, the US Labs responsible for Biological Weapons.News story hereThis maybe some other disease.
Fort Detrick’s viral lab was closed down in August 2019 by CDC because of a leak (and various deficiencies).News story here. Note that Fort Detrick was also the source of the Anthrax that was distributed across USA after 9/11.Coincidence.
Pandemic rehearsal in September 2020News story here. Bill Gates has a specific agenda.Coincidence. There are many such rehearsals. Bill Gates is a philanthropist.
Alleged by China: US Troops brought Covid-19 to the Military Games staged in Wuhan in October 2019News story here.
• The American Military Games team trained at a location near Fort Detrick.
• The 300-strong US contingent to the Military Games stayed at the Wuhan Oriental Hotel, 300 meters from the Huanan Seafood Market where China’s outbreak began .
• 42 employees of the Oriental Hotel were diagnosed with COVID-19, becoming the first cluster in Wuhan. At the time only 7 people from the market had been thus diagnosed (and treated before the hotel staff). All 7 had contact with the 42 from the hotel. From this source, the virus spread to the rest of China.
• Five of the US troops developed a fever on Oct. 25 and were taken to an infectious-diseases hospital for treatment.
• Pompeo wanted the Chinese not to publicize what they had found.
• The Chinese point out that the US medal tally at the games was so low that the team selected for the games had an agenda other than athelitics.
Chinese propaganda.
If the USA is to blame then there must have been an agenda! Support for a billionaire’s agenda:
Billionaire’s getting rich from Covid-19
• Supporting a Eugenics agenda and reducing world’s population
Disaster capitalism
• Excellent timing of outbreak with relationalship to UK GE2019 (Won on two slogans: “Get Brexit Done” and “our wonderful NHS”)
• Excellent timing to hide No Deal Brexit, the non-publication of the Russia Report and Acuri Scandal.
• Excellent timing to hide any further Epstien revelations (and his relationships to Prince Andrew, Clintons, Blair and… Bill Gates (even after Epstien was in Jail) and Donald Trump!)
It’s not helping Trump!
Pros and Cons of Theory Number 4 Made-it Happen – USA to Blame

But That Means…

Surely Theory 4 is just too bizarre? If the USA were to blame they deliberately set out with pre-meditation to release Covid-19 on the world knowing that it would kill the old, poor, overweight and BAME… Well for that to happen they would have to have a good cover story… like being able to blame it on China… and extreme media coverage to make sure that the story stuck. It would mean that they would have to a huge and concerted military style pyschological operations. A giant PysOp!

It would also mean access to huge amount of data! Not to determine health outcomes but whether their PysOp was working! The data behind the COVID-19 pandemic was never reliable, with test kits being inaccurate, government policies inflating the death counts, and the media focusing solely on fear-based predictions that are repeatedly proven false. Indeed, there are scientists and government leaders from other countries, including Russia, Germany and Denmark, speaking out about how the coronavirus threat may have been exaggerated.

Who Benefits?

As reported in the Daily Gaslamp, the outcomes of the coronavirus scare have included huge windfalls for billionaires, financial institutions, and corporations. Legislation being passed in response to COVID-19 is largely beneficial to corporate interests. The outcomes for everyone else have been fear, unemployment, poverty, loss of freedoms, grave risks to democracy, and death.

The Covid Event closely follows plans disclosed 15 years ago by Strategic Communications Laboratories SCL which nominally closed down after the Cambridge Analytica scandal in 2018. SCL’s key associates include Nigel Oakes, Mark Broughton and the Behavioral Dynamics Institute, a virtual lab led by Professor Phil Taylor of Leeds University. The techniques include manipulating people to demand the new restrictions rather than simply forcing the laws upon us.

But you cannot help but conclude:

  • the people and agencies driving the coronavirus scare have a history of unethical behaviors, including hyping pandemics to push vaccines and other drugs;
  • appear to seek long-term profits through implementation of a highly controlled society
  • Eugenics-like behaviours…

Therefore, the response to COVID-19, not the virus itself, can be seen to be the problem. The virus had been deliberately selected, refined, tested and released… all for a eugenics based agenda and for profit. And the implications that it was released when it was is also important and no longer coincidental: the timing has been perfect for UK and USA regarding the elections and for Brexit…

And for this argument to be fully explored… I suggest the following parts 1, 2, 3 and (the best) part 4:

Review and Consider

Are there any alternative theories or missing data? Update Number 1: try this…

This video is further discussed here.

One Rule for the Rich

… is to get rich quick.

Following on from Dominic Cummings blatant disregard for the lockdown rules imposed by this Tory Government that he engineered a fraudlent win last December, it has emerged from the Bureau of Investigation conflicts of interest between Cummings and the AI Health firms receiving government cash.

It reports

Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s most senior aide, is facing conflict of interest accusations over a publicly undisclosed consultancy job at a healthcare start-up endorsed by the government and in pole position to receive cash from a £250m NHS fund.

Cummings advised Babylon Health, a controversial AI start-up, on its communications strategy and senior recruitment just months before its “GP at Hand” app was publicly backed by Matt Hancock, the health secretary…

“The links between Dominic Cummings in the heart of Downing Street, the health secretary and this AI health firm are increasingly murky and highly irresponsible,” the shadow health secretary, Jonathan Ashworth, said. “Mr Cummings’ work for this company raises serious questions about a potential conflict of interest given the firm could be in line to receive public money from this new £250m AI fund… Cummings should come clean on any other consultancy work he did before entering Downing Street so the public can have confidence that there are no other conflict of interest issues at play.”

Babylon confirmed Cummings was paid via his company, Dynamic Maps Ltd, which he set up in October 2017 as the sole director…

Babylon had been repeatedly boosted by Matt Hancock, who even promised to help change rules to benefit the company. At his visit to the company in September 2018, soon after his appointment as health secretary, he told staff how much he admired their work.

Big Data and Privacy Concerns

Under a recent relaxation of data-sharing restrictions, private companies can now be granted access to NHS patient data for valid Covid-19 purposes.

One company to note is Palantir. It has been accused of having its data-mining technology used for questionable purposes. Examples include a system used by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to separate immigrant families and the use of its software in predictive policing tools by the Los Angeles Police Department. In 2018, Palantir admitted that an employee had helped Cambridge Analytica build its data-harvesting app in 2013-14…

Previously confidential NHS data could not be put under the control of anyone who was not a healthcare professional without a legal basis.

Doubts are growing about what happens once the coronavirus crisis is over. One insider told the Bureau: “I can understand why they are using Palantir, it has incredible software.” But they said they were concerned that the company was not known for being the most open and added: “I’d like to see it build a parallel system – so [the Palantir system] can get switched off when it is not needed anymore.”

Natalie Banner, lead on the Understanding Patient Data programme at the medical research charity Wellcome, said that the public do not object to private companies working with the health service as long as benefits to patients and the NHS are clearly prioritised. “The NHS can benefit from the capacity and technical expertise of technology companies, for example to build the data store,” she said.

Crucially, technology companies that work with the NHS during this crisis will develop a better understanding of the UK’s health data infrastructure, “which could give them an advantage in future discussions about providing services to the NHS”.

Rachel Coldicutt, former chief executive of the technology ethics think tank Doteveryone, said that: “Public services, funded by public money, must be open to public scrutiny – especially in times of great upheaval when lots of decisions are being made very quickly.

“Publishing the specification that Palantir is working to and appointing an emergency governance committee to give external oversight would help maintain trust in this volatile period.”

According to Wired, some 40 tech companies were present at a meeting with No 10 advisor Dominic Cummings in Downing Street on 12 March. Among their ranks were said to be several who have got the Covid-related health contracts, as well as the AI start-up Babylon Health.

Big Data and Covid-19

Big Data systems fed from the government’s new tracking app would definitely help track, manage and contain the Covid-19 pandemic. If Dominic Cummings had that idea then all credit to him. Cummings has for years maintained a blog documenting his enthusiasm for new technologies and artificial intelligence, as reported on the DailyGasLamp. However, with the introduction a new smart phone tracking app, there are two small problems:

Cronyism

Taken from this Guardian Article: One of the IT companies that was hired to work with Dominic Cummings on the Vote Leave campaign, Faculty aka Faculty Science, previous called Advanced Skills Initiative, has been awarded at least seven government contracts worth almost £1m in the space of 18 months.

  • Faculty has links to senior Tory figures, and is rapidly expanding its reach into various corners of Whitehall.
  • Last year it was tasked with finding ways to apply artificial intelligence across government agencies. Faculty is run by Marc Warner, who has attended a meeting of the government’s scientific advisory group on emergencies (SAGE) and “behaved as Cummings’ deputy” as disclosed in an article in the Times.
  • Marc Warner’s brother, Ben Warner, is a data scientist, was reportedly recruited to Downing Street last year by Cummings after running the data modelling for the Conservative party’s general election campaign. Ben Warner worked on Vote Leave.
  • Faculty is working at the heart of the government’s response to the pandemic. It has been processing large volumes of confidential UK patient information in an “unprecedented” data-mining operation alongside Palantir, a US firm founded by the libertarian billionaire Peter Thiel. Faculty’s government work with Palantir on Covid-19 is based out of NHSX, the digital technology arm of the health service. This work was awarded to Faculty in March under the government’s fast-track procedures to respond to the pandemic, without any other firms being asked to bid for it.
  • Faculty’s work on the coronavirus response is only the latest government project it has secured under the Conservative administration. One early contract when called Advanced Skills Initiative, was for £32,000, funded fellowships in 2018 to place data scientists in city governments to help solve local challenges.
  • Last year Faculty was awarded a £250,000 contract from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to run a cross-government review on the adoption of artificial intelligence.
  • Under the contract, Faculty worked with two government departments – the Office for Artificial Intelligence and Government Digital Service (GDS) – “to identify the most significant opportunities to introduce AI across government with the aim of increasing productivity and improving the quality of public services”.
  • Faculty has been awarded a £264,000 contract from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to monitor the impact of the coronavirus on industry. (The DailyGasLamp analysis btw is free).
  • One of Faculty’s shareholders is Lord Agnew, a financier who has been a government minister since 2017. He has owned shares in the firm for the past four years. They are worth around £90,000, according to its most recent filings. In February this year it was announced that Agnew had become a minister in the Cabinet Office and Treasury and had taken ministerial responsibility for the GDS, which works with official bodies to use digital technology to improve public services. A government spokesperson said Agnew had had no role in awarding any contracts to Faculty while he had been a minister. However, Spotlight on Corruption, a watchdog group, has called on Agnew to sell his shareholding in Faculty, saying it raised questions over the government’s rules on managing conflicts of interests.

So just to reiterate, a Cabinet Office minister, Theodore Agnew, who is responsible for the government department that promotes the use of digital technology within public services, is resisting calls to sell a £90,000 shareholding in the company “amid claims of a conflict of interest” – yes, clear conflicts of interest are just “claims of a conflict of interest”. Hmm.

The government spokesperson replied that Agnew had followed the appropriate procedures by declaring his shareholding in House of Lords register of interests and under the ministerial code of conduct etc.

Holly Searle, Faculty’s head of PR and communications, said: “Faculty has strong governance procedures in place to guard against conflicts of interest when competing for new work. All of its contracts with the government are won through the proper processes and in line with procurement rules.”

In the meantime, some people are getting worried that the UK Government has handed over ALL NHS DATA to a consortium of companies which consists of Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Faculty and Plantir Technologies (a company named after an evil artefact that comminicates with far away places). So much so they are planning on sueing the UK Government.

Dominic Cummings has also been accused of conflicts of interest regarding the smart phone tracking app.

End of Democracy

This is a bit like who guards the guardians. There is no oversight either from crony corruption or it seems, the misuse of data. The control on data controllers should be applied by the Information Commisioner Office – see https://ico.org.uk/ – as discussed previously on the DailyGasLamp.

The privacy concerns have been highlighted by 177 cyber experts. They have written an open letter to the goverment to stop the app being used as a mass-surveillance tool. Why?

  • The UK government stated that it would not use Apple and Google’s built-in privacy protection systems to anonymise data collected from apps on iPhone and Android smartphones.
  • This allows the government to create a database that could then be used to de-anonymize users, and just like Cambridge Analystica and other AI/Big Data companies have proven, be used for other purposes.

And sure enough security concerns have now developed into security flaws.

Also discussed before on the DailyGasLamp, the “exhaust” from Covid-19 would be a significant boost to Dominic Cummings’ Voter Intention Collection System… no need to worry about going to the polls, there would be instant analysis of whether the Government Response to the pandemic is working… not working for you, but working for THEM… whether they and their cronies need to worry “politically” about any the decisions that are killing off the old and disabled. Big Data in the hands of this particular government means the End of Democracy, as explained here. Probably the end of many other things too (depending on your attiritude to spooks!).

This is further described in a tweet from Carol Cadwalladr – linking terrorist surveillance and covid with the support Dominic Cummings and his chums…

Ultimately it is supposed to be the 4th Estate to keep the Government in check. The BBC is merely the Ministry of Truth. The newspapers are owned by billionaires. Social media is now corrupt. Suggestions on a postcard, please… (PS you cannot rely solely on Piers Morgan for all 4th Estate watch-dogging.)

Summary: the new smart phone app and the way it is likely to be applied, will be not only be measuring the spread of the virus but also (via Big Data) the political impact: the public reaction to the covid-19 response, allowing the Tories to persue the cheapest, eugenics-like policies at a level which will not remove them power.
